MOH List Equipment Update – Enable New Zealand Region

There have been some queries regarding the new MOH List Equipment items and process. To clarify the points raised please see below:

Completing the MoH List Equipment Form

There have been some minor wording changes to the MOH List Equipment catalogue which require some translation when completing the MOH List Equipment form. Where the form notes the following;

• Form cell “Equipment List #” - insert the ORDERING CODE reference
• Form cell “Item Master #” – insert the JDE# reference

MoH Equipment List Catalogue

There has been some requests for more specifications on some of the MOH List Equipment items. These have been included in an updated list. There are no equipment additions or deletions.

Goldfern Mobility

Included in the MOH List Equipment tender undertaken by Enable New Zealand was an option for all suppliers to provide equipment under a model called “Truncated Supply”, this is simply a different way of procuring equipment. This model provides direct access to rehabilitation equipment sourced from various overseas markets. Supply is streamlined which results in cost savings to the EMS budget.

Goldfern Mobility was identified as the successful tenderer for this procurement model. Goldfern Mobility is a Palmerston North distributor who has had over 30 years experience in importing goods into the New Zealand market.

Enable New Zealand and Goldfern Mobility are working in partnership, each bringing their individual expertise to the relationship - Enable New Zealand provide the technical expertise regarding product specification, quality and fit for purpose and Goldfern Mobility provide expertise in sourcing the equipment, shipping and logistics.
