Reissuing Equipment - Enable New Zealand Region

Where a Specialised assessment service has had common list type equipment (excluding beds and wheelchairs) returned to their service, they may take all necessary steps to ensure the item is fit for purpose and meets infection control standards and reissue this item to another eligible client.

Please note: this process does not apply to any complex equipment or the common list hi/lo beds or common list wheelchairs. Specialised Assessment services do not have any authority to reissue these items of equipment and for reasons of client safety and management liability these must be returned to Enable New Zealand Stores for refurbishment and hydraulic and electrical testing.

The reissuing Specialised Assessor must put the Asset Number in the Common List No. column and note the Supplier as ‘Reissue’ with a corresponding short equipment description. Leaving the Delivery Details blank.
