Enable New Zealand’s Wheelchair and Seating Outreach service is a resource for disabled people and their wheelchair and seating specialised assessors funded by the Ministry of Health. Through the Outreach service we provide easy access to wheelchair and seating products and support in the Lower North Island and South Island. Referrals are made after the specialised wheelchair and seating assessor has worked with the disabled person to complete an assessment. The referral includes persons set goals for mobility and seating.
