What level of funding is available?
A maximum of $12,165; including GST, (subject to Income and Asset Testing) is available for vehicle purchase, and up to $12,165; including GST for vehicle modifications.

Will I be income and asset tested?
Yes, all funding for vehicle purchase is subject to an Income and Asset test. This will determine the funding level that you will be entitled to receive. If you decline an Income and Asset test, funding will not be made available.

Can I be reimbursed if I've already purchased a vehicle?
No, funding is only available for applications submitted by an EMS Assessor, and approved by either Enable New Zealand or accessable, prior to the purchase of the vehicle or the completion of the vehicle modifications.

Who owns the vehicle?
You do, and you are responsible for all running costs associated with the vehicle such as repairs and maintenance, insurance and registration.
