RTL hearing service closing down on 14 November 2019

Important information for audiologists and audiometrists

You’ll be aware that Enable New Zealand (ENZ) is replacing our Enable Online RTL with a simpler, easy-to-use online application system. As we now look to make our new hearing service request system live, it’s important that you know what you need to do over the next 2 to 3 weeks to ensure a smooth transition.

Key dates

5pm on Thursday 14 November 2019: Enable Online RTL will close down. This is so we can transfer data between RTL and the new system to enable us to go live on 21 November. You will not be able submit any applications after this time until the new system is available.

Thursday 21 November 2019: The new system goes live. Once you receive your new logins in the morning you will be able to submit new applications.

To be able to access our new system on 21 November you will need the latest version of one of the following internet browsers on your computer or other device:

Update your RTL service requests

Please check your My Work folder in RTL.

  • Progress any outstanding requests or trials and close/cancel any that are no longer required.
  • Upload any outstanding documents (quotes, invoices, audiograms etc.) in RTL or email them to

Ensure you can receive ENZ hearing email notices

  • Check your EMS Assessor Online email address iscurrent and correct.
  • Make sure you are subscribed to our hearing email updates service.
