Enable NZ Spectacle Subsidy System (RTL) to be replaced

Enable New Zealand is replacing the Spectacle Subsidy System (RTL) with a new system. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Spectacle Subsidy System (RTL) survey in February this year. Enable New Zealand undertook the survey to gain a better understanding of your experience with RTL and we received a large amount of valuable information about what’s working well and what needed to change. We are continuing to review the feedback as we explore a new Spectacle Subsidy System to replace RTL.

Two key themes emerging from the feedback were about the poor speed and clunkiness of the system. This has been a key focus of our work to improve the service we offer and we are confident that the new system will be faster and easier to use.

The proposed Go-live for the new system is the 4th June 2019 and we will be offering User Training on the week of the 27th May 2019.

We will keep everyone up to date with progress and share key pieces of information. However if you have a person or people dedicated to completing the On-line Spectacle Subsidy Request for your business / organisation we are keen to know who they are. Please email your contact/s name through to enable@enable.co.nz, attention Maria Greig-Anderson (Director of Customer Experience) by COB Monday 6th May with the following detail:

1. Full Name

2. Position / role in the organization

3. Confirmation of availability between now and the 4th June 2019
