Occupational Therapists may apply to become an Approved Assessor for Basic Housing Modifications. This allows Occupational Therapists to undertake an assessment where a straight forward housing modification service request may be made for handrails, wedge threshold ramps, lever taps or internal door widening.

In all situations other than those resulting in basic housing modification service requests, the Occupational Therapist will need to hold the Housing Modification Credential to make a housing modifications service request.
